Japan Forest Series - Crafted from Japanese Tone Woods -
The "Japan Forest" is dedicated to crafting instruments using rare Japanese woods. As a new endeavor within this project, a special model has been introduced to the Morris S series, which is designed for fingerstyle players, featuring woods sourced from Miyazaki Prefecture.
For the top, we have used local "Jisugi" cedar from Miyazaki Prefecture, which has been highly acclaimed in the series. This is paired with "Sendan" (Chinaberry), also from Miyazaki, for the sides and back.
The brilliant high-end and warm midrange produced by the Jisugi cedar, blends with the deep resonance characteristic of Sendan, and creates a full-bodied and richly unique tone. The lush resonance, unique to purely Japanese woods, takes on an oriental atmosphere, resulting in a model that plays with a one-of-a-kind tone.
