G-3 2026 Renewed Series

New Performers Edition designed around a European spruce solid top.

Since the soundboard is arguably the most important element of an acoustic guitar, the M-3 has been designed with a solid (single-piece) top that draws out the full potential of the material, achieving a beautiful guitar tone.

"Exceptional sound, made accessible."
It was from this passion that our new Performers Edition was born.

For the first time in this series, we have adopted European Spruce for the soundboard. Carefully selected, this high-grade timber has allowed us to achieve a rich, full volume and exceptional responsiveness. Finally, by applying an ultra-thin finish the wood’s natural resonance shines through.

The resulting sound is finely balanced: powerful and expansive for strumming, yet delicate and beautiful for fingerstyle play. It resonates comfortably from the very first day you pick it up, deepening your connection to the instrument every time you play.

The traditional "MORRIS" vertical logo is alongside the round-shoulder body shape beloved by countless Morris fans.

Enjoy a rich, full resonance to your heart's content, combined with a classic look that proudly carries on the company's heritage.

Suggested retail price: ¥99,000 (¥90,000 before tax)

European Spruce

European Spruce grows in high-altitude mountain regions above 1,000 meters, including the European Alps, Bavaria (Germany), Austria, and the Dolomites (Italy).

Because it grows slowly in cold environments, it features a strikingly unique and beautiful grain pattern distinct from commonly used Sitka spruce. Renowned for its rich resonance and outstanding responsiveness, it is widely utilized not only in classical and high-end acoustic guitars, but also in string instruments like violins.

For Morris Guitars, we select spruce timber managed under strict quality controls at overseas facilities before manufacturing. Each guitar is then inspected and adjusted in Japan by hand.
